My first project from the new book was a sewn pamphlet book.
For some reason, I decided to make two at the same time—perhaps as a backup, though I wasn’t entirely sure at the time. In the end, it turned out to be a good decision because my first attempt at covering one of the blocks didn’t go well. My gluing and corner-folding techniques definitely need work, but hopefully, that will improve with time and practice.
Thankfully, the second attempt went much better, and I’m really pleased with how it turned out—an actual, usable notebook!
I’m really enjoying working through the book and learning new techniques. The instructions are clear and concise, supported by great photography. I’m looking forward to continuing and hopefully learning even more along the way.
